Henri Tan, project director of leading MICE player Constellar, has recently been appointed to the Board Member of the Iran-ASEAN Business Council (IABC) for 2022/2023. A veteran in the MICE industry and with a vast experience in Asia especially in the Food and Beverage industry, Henri hopes to use his experience and network to connect businesses and promote international trade.

IABC was established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, gathering companies and individuals based or residing in Malaysia or ASEAN to promote both Iran-Malaysia and Iran-ASEAN commercial and industrial interests. It was set up on 10 December 2015. IABC is currently led by Chairman Dato’ Ghazali Bin Dato Mohd Yusof and President Mahdi Sadat.

“With this appointment, I would like to the MIFB platform to promote Iran as the leading agri exporting country from fruits to nuts to spices”, said Henri Tan, who is also leading the 22nd edition Malaysian International Food & Beverage Fair (MIFB) taking place on 6 to 8 July at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
