Held from 26 – 28 October at Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia (AFTEA) provides a focused exhibition platform with a “living lab” environment, thematic experiential zones, sandbox and community-based learning for emerging and established industry players in the agri-food industry to launch, showcase and testbed their solutions.

The inaugural edition of the Expo will focus on key themes such as Aquaculture & Urban Protein Production, Food Safety & Security, Novel Food Technologies, and Smart Farming. Bringing together over 6,000 trade professionals, to activate impactful networks, explore opportunities, and embark on partnerships, AFTEA aims to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of Asia’s agriculture-food technology sectors.

As a lead-up to the main AFTEA event, Ag-Volution For The Future – a series of industry-curated roadshows for the region – will commence with its first stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 7 July 2022, Thursday from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, held in conjunction with Malaysian International Food & Beverage Trade Fair (MIFB) at KLCC.

Featuring a line-up of esteemed industry speakers including Oy Cheng Phang, Executive Director, Sustainability from KPMG Malaysia; Christine Gould, Founder and Chief Executive Officer from Thought For Food Foundation; Navin Sinnathamby, Head, AgTech, Sectorial Pilots & DroneTech, Ecosystem Development Division from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn. Bhd (MDEC) and more, the Malaysia roadshow will enable key stakeholders to share first-hand insights on their thoughts of the future of agri-food in the nation.
